Four-year CSSHL student athlete Suppin signs with Eagles

The Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Canmore Eagles have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Isaac Suppin for the 2020-21 season.

Suppin, 17, has attended the Pursuit of Excellence the past four seasons, competing on their U18 Prep team the past three seasons.

During the 2019-20 season, the Kelowna, B.C. product registered 51 points (27-24-51) in 33 games, as well as three points (2-1-3) in two games at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships. Overall, Suppin finished his CSSHL U18 Prep career with 77 points (35-42-77) in 97 games.

The 5-foot-11 forward split the 2016-17 season with Pursuit’s U15 and U15 prep teams. In 16 games at the U15 level, he registered 21 points (11-10-21), as well as six points (3-3-6) in four post-season contests. At the U15 prep level, Suppin had one goal in seven regular season games, then chipped in with one assist in five post-season games, helping his team win the 2017 CSSHL U15 Prep Championship.

Suppin has appeared in 13 games with the British Columbia Hockey League’s Vernon Vipers over the past two seasons, collecting one goal.
