Former BWC Academy U15 teammates Josh Kelly and Nishaan Parmar have signed Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreements.
Kelly and Parmar were teammates for the 2019/20 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) season. Parmar would finish fifth in team scoring with 36 points in 30 games while Kelly was sixth among BWC Academy skaters with 33 points in 29 games.
Kelly would return to BWC Academy for the 2020/21 U15 Prep season tallying five goals and one assist in six games. After going undrafted in the 2021 WHL Draft, the Kamloops Blazers listed the Port Moody, BC forward shortly after Christmas, before signing him February 23, 2023.
Parmar would join Delta Hockey Academy Green for the 2020/21 U15 Prep season. The Surrey, BC forward would finish with one point in four games. The Seattle Thunderbirds would draft Parmar in the seventh round, 148th overall in the 2021 WHL Draft, signing him on February 22, 2023.
