Fitzpatrick Commits to Niagara University

Former Prairie Hockey Academy student-athlete Caelan Fitzpatrick has committed to Niagara University for the 2023/24 season.

The Moose Jaw, SK forward spent two seasons with Prairie, including the 2018/19 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) U16 Prep season. In 35 games Fitzpatrick finished third in team scoring with 37 points.

In 2020/21 he would join the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). He would return to Estevan the following season, recording 48 points in 57 games. He would add 8 more points in 15 playoff games as Estevan were crowned SJHL Champions.

Fitzpatrick joined the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s (AJHL) Brooks Bandits in 2022/23, finishing with 51 points in 53 games. He would tally 11 goals and 5 assists in 15 playoff games as the Bandits captured an AJHL Championship.

Located in Niagara County, New York, Niagara University is an NCAA Division I program competing in the Atlantic Hockey Conference (AHA).
