Filmon signs Standard Player Agreement with Broncos

The Swift Current Broncos have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Josh Filmon to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.

Filmon, 15, has attended the Rink Hockey Academy (RHA) the past two seasons, suiting up for their U16 Prep team this past season, where he netted 40 points (21-19-40) in 36 games, while also adding three points (1-2-3) in two games at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.

The Winnipeg, Man. product also appeared in one game with the RHA U18 Prep team, collecting one assist.

During the 2018-19 season, Filmon registered 28 points (8-20-28) in 29 games with the RHA U15 Prep team, as well as four points (3-1-4) in three games at the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships.

Filmon was selected in the fourth round, 67th overall, by the Broncos at the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
