Ferris State University Adds Ergang

Ferris State University have added former Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athlete Kaleb Ergang for the 2021/22 season.

The Spruce Grove, AB forward spent two seasons in the CSSHL with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). In 2015/16, the inaugural CSSHL season for the NAX U16 Prep team, Ergang tallied 23 points in 31 regular season and playoff games as he helped NAX win a CSSHL U16 Prep League Championship. In 2016/17 he would score 20 goals and add 23 assists in 28 U18 Prep games.

In 2017/18 he would join the Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). He would spend two years with the club before joining the Whitecourt Wolverines for his final two years of junior. In 165 AJHL games Ergang recorded 115 points, including 55 in 51 games in 2019/20.

Ferris State University is a NCAA Division I program located in Big Rapids, Michigan, competing in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA)
