Tristen Doyle has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement (SPA) with the Lethbridge Hurricanes after they selected him in the first round, 17th overall at the 2021 WHL Draft in December.
Doyle has spent the last three seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). Doyle would spend the 2019/20 and 2020/21 CSSHL seasons with the NAX U15 Prep team, recording 8 goals and 25 assists in 31 games. The Bonnyville, AB defenseman spent the 2021/22 season with the NAX U18 Prep team where he would finish second among defensemen with 42 points in 33 games played.
