DHA alum Taylor commits to Clarkson

Former Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Trey Taylor has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey at Clarkson University.

Taylor, 17, attended the Delta Hockey Academy during the 2017-18 season, registering 28 points (12-16-28) in 35 games with their Elite 15 team, while also adding one assist in three games with their Midget Prep team.

The six-foot defenceman collected four points (1-3-4) in four games during the 2018 BDO CSSHL Championships.

Taylor is currently in his second season with the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers, where he has appeared in 96 career games, accumulating 27 points (6-21-27).

Based in Potsdam, NY, Clarkson University competes in the NCAA Division I ECAC.
