Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) defenseman Hyde Davidson has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement (SPA) with the Seattle Thunderbirds.
The Thunderbirds selected the Edmonton, AB native in the second round, 24th overall in the 2021 WHL Draft. Davidson is in his first season in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the NAX U16 Prep team. In 20 games he has scored 7 goals to go along with 12 assists.
Davidson was part of Team Alberta that won a silver medal at the 2021 WHL Cup in October.
