Former Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Chase Dafoe has committed to Providence College for the 2022/23 season.
Dafoe spent one season in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the OHA U15 Prep team, recording 8 goals and 12 assists in 30 games.
The Beverly, Massachusetts forward would join the Trail Smoke Eaters in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the 2019/20 season tallying 17 points in 55 games. He would be named the team’s captain for the 2020/21 campaign, finishing with 8 points in 20 BCHL games.
Dafoe is currently playing for the BCHL’s West Kelowna Warriors, where he has 18 goals and 15 assists in 46 games played.
Providence College is an NCAA Division I program located in Providence, competing in the Hockey East Conference.
