CSSHL announces expansion of current programs for the 2021-22 season

 

The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) has announced that its Board of Governors has granted approval for five CSSHL member programs to operate new teams in the 2021-22 seasonthe Prairie Hockey Academy, the Notre Dame Hounds, the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy, Bourget College and Mount Academy. 

Based in Caronport, Sask., the Prairie Hockey Academy joined the CSSHL in 2018-19. Prairie currently operates teams in the U16 Prep and U17 Prep divisions and was approved to expand its programming into the U15 Prep and U18 Prep divisions.

During the 2016-17 season, the Notre Dame Hounds, located in Wilcox, Sask., joined the CSSHL. The Hounds will add a U18 Prep team in the 2021-22 season to span across four divisions, the U15 Prep, U16 Prep, U17 Prep and U18 Prep.

The Pilot Mound Hockey Academy also joined the league during the 2016-17 season. The Buffaloes, who are located in Pilot Mound, Man., will add a U15 Prep team in fall 2021 and will ice also teams across the U17 Prep and Female U18 Prep divisions. 

Bourget College, located in Rigaud, Que.,  joined the CSSHL as part of the league’s eastern Canada expansion in 2019-20. Bourget will add a team to the U17 Prep division to complement its U18 Prep team for the 2021-22 season. 

Located in Charlottetown, P.E.I., Mount Academy’s U16 Prep team will compete in the U17 Prep division for the 2021-22 campaign. Mount joined the CSSHL in 2019-20 and will also operate teams in both the U17 Prep and U18 Prep divisions. 

With all teams now approved for the 2021-22, the CSSHL will turn our focus to creating a regular season schedule in accordance with the local and provincial health authority guidelines. We look forward to beginning our 13th season Fall 2021.
