CSSHL alum Dunn commits to Maine

Canadian Sport School Hockey League alum Kabore Dunn has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey with the University of Maine.

Dunn, 18, attended Shawnigan Lake School from 2015 to 2017 and is currently in his first season with the AJHL’s Fort McMurray Oil Barons.

During the 2015-16 season, the Mill Bay, B.C. product netted six points (3-3-6) in 22 games with the Shawnigan Bantam Prep team, before splitting the 2016-17 season with their Midget Varsity and Midget Prep teams. In 35 games at the Midget Prep Division level, the six-foot-two defenceman registered 24 points (3-21-24), while also adding six points (2-4-6) in 12 games at the Midget Varsity Division level.

Dunn has recorded 22 points (6-16-22) in 39 games with the Oil Barons this season.

He was originally selected in the fourth round, 70th overall, by the Kootenay Ice at the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
