CSSHL alum Duhaime signs with Wild

The Minnesota Wild have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League alum Brandon Duhaime to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Duhaime, 21, attended the Pursuit of Excellence for three seasons, playing the last two on their Midget Prep team.

In 37 career games in the CSSHL’s Midget Prep Division, the Parkland, FL product posted 32 points (13-19-32), along with three points (2-1-3) in five post-season games.

Duhaime was selected by the Wild in the fourth round, 106th overall, at the 2016 NHL Draft.

The six-foot-one forward has spent the past three seasons at Providence College, where he collected 72 points (22-50-72) in 117 games.

Prior to attending Providence College, Duhaime played one season in the USHL with the Chicago Steel and Tri-City Storm, and one season in the BCHL with the Merritt Centennials.
