Landon Cowper has made his Western Hockey League (WHL) debut with the Kelowna Rockets after he signed a WHL Standard Player Agreement with the club.
Cowper signed his WHL SPA before making his debut February 10, 2023, recording an assist for his first career WHL point. He would play for them again on February 11 and currently remains with the team.
The Rockets acquired Cowper at this years WHL trade deadline from the Prince Albert Raiders. The Raiders originally selected the Whitehorse, YT defenseman in the fourth round, 69th overall at the 2021 WHL Draft.
Cowper is now in his fourth Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) season with the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna program. He has recorded 19 points in 25 U18 Prep games this season. In 93 career CSSHL games he has tallied 61 points.
