Four-year Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Anne Cherkowski will attend and play NCAA hockey at the University of Minnesota next season.
Cherkowski, 18, has attended the Pursuit of Excellence the past four seasons, appearing in 85 career CSSHL regular season games, accumulating 165 points (85-80-165).
Most recently, the Coldstream, B.C. product tallied 37 points (22-15-37) in 18 games during the 2019-20 season.
Cherkowski was the recipient of the 2018 CSSHL Female U18 Prep Top Freshman award, while also being part of the 2019 and 2018 CSSHL Female U18 Prep Championship teams.
On the international stage, Cherkowski won a gold medal for Canada at the 2019 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship and a silver medal at the 2020 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship.
