Kate Bumstead, four year Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete, will attend and play USports hockey at Trinity Western University in the 2020-21 season.
Last season, the Headingley, MB product attended the St. Mary’s Academy where she notched two goals and 11 assists (2-11-13) in 24 regular season games for the Female U18 prep team.
During the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships, the 2002 born defenseman added one goal and one assist (1-1-2) in four playoff games.
In 105 career CSSHL games, Bumstead, 18, recorded a total of 38 points, scoring seven goals and 31 assists (7-31-38).
