The Swift Current Broncos have signed Brennen Hocher to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
The Calgary, AB defenseman is committed to NCAA program the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and will be able to maintain this commitment given recent rule changes.
Hocher joined Edge School for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 U15 Prep seasons, tallying 6 points in 27 games leading to the Broncos selecting him in the ninth round, 184th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft.
The following U17 Prep season Hocher tallied 12 points in 23 games with Edge. He would begin the 2023/24 U18 Prep season with Edge, playing in four games before heading to the junior ranks.
