The Saskatoon Blades have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Carter Streek to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
Streek, 16, has attended the Yale Hockey Academy the past two seasons, most recently posting 28 points (9-19-28) in 33 games with their U18 Prep team.
During the 2018-19 season, the Kamloops, B.C. product netted 28 points (14-14-28) in 29 games with the Yale U15 Prep team, helping his team capture the 2019 CSSHL U15 Prep Division Championship.
The five-foot-seven forward was originally selected by the Portland Winterhawks in the fourth round, 80th overall, at the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft before being acquired by the Blades via trade on April 21.
