Betinol off to Minnesota-Duluth next season

Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Kassy Betinol has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Betinol, 17, is in her third season in the CSSHL and first season attending the Pursuit of Excellence, where she has netted 30 points (17-13-30) in 16 games with their Female Prep team.

During her Grade 10 and 11 seasons, the Okotoks, Alta. product attended the Okanagan Hockey Academy, where she collected 38 points (17-21-38) in 41 games with their Female Prep team, while capturing the 2017 CSSHL Female Prep Championship, as well as 25 points (16-9-25) in 15 games with their Female Varsity team.

The University of Minnesota-Duluth women’s ice hockey program competes in the NCAA Division I Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WHCA). They have captured five NCAA Tournament Championships, the latest of which in 2010.
