Bernard-Docker Siblings Join University Programs

Current Edge School student-athlete Island Bernard-Docker has committed to Mount Allison University, while older brother and Edge alum Seth will join the University of Denver for the 2021/22 season.

Island has spent the past three seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) Female U18 Prep division. In 51 CSSHL games the defenseman recorded 3 goals and 21 assists. The Canmore, AB native was part of the Edge School team that captured the 2019/20 CSSHL Female U18 Prep League Championship.

Located in Sackville, New Brunswick, Mount Allison University competes in U SPORTS in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) Conference.

Seth has spent the last three seasons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with the Okotoks Oilers, tallying 57 points in 122 AJHL games. Prior to his time in the AJHL, the defenseman spent three seasons with Edge School, joining the CSSHL in 2015/16 in the U15 Prep division. He would play for their U16 Prep team in 2016/17 and their U18 Prep team in 2017/18. In 74 CSSHL games Seth would score 8 goals while adding 35 assists.

The University of Denver Pioneers are an NCAA Division I program located in Denver, Colorado. The Pioneers are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).
