Bemidji Adds RHA Kelowna Teammates

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna Female U18 Prep teammates Hailey Armstrong and Eva Filippova have committed to Bemidji State University for the 2023/24 season.

Both Armstrong and Filippova joined RHA Kelowna for the 2022/23 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) Female U18 Prep season. The pair would help RHA Kelowna capture the 2023 CSSHL Female U18 Prep Western Championship with an overtime win over Shawnigan Lake School.

A forward from Dawson Creek, BC, Armstrong would finish third amongst RHA Kelowna skaters and sixth in league scoring with 38 points in 30 games. Armstrong would add two goals and five assists in five playoff games, including a goal in the Championship game.

Filippova played 16 games during the 2022/23 season, winning 14 of them and posting a 1.33 GAA and .936 SV%. The Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia netminder would play all five playoff games for RHA Kelowna, going undefeated while recording a 1.17 GAA and .931 SV%.

Located in Bemidji, Minnesota, Bemidji State University is an NCAA Division I program competing in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) conference.
