1 current and 12 former Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes have been selected to represent Team Canada Red and White at the 2023 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
The tournament takes place November 2-11, 2023 in Charlottetown and Summerside P.E.I. Among the 44 Canadians selected to represent the two teams are 13 players with ties to the CSSHL.

- Reese Hamilton – Northern Alberta Xtreme
- Chase Harrington – Delta Hockey Academy
- Peyton Kettles – RHA Winnipeg
- Gavin McKenna – RHA Kelowna/South Alberta Hockey Academy
- Cole Reschny – Northern Alberta Xtreme
- Connor Schmidt – Okanagan Hockey Academy
- Jackson Smith – Edge School
Canada White
- Joby Baumuller – Notre Dame Hounds
- Koen Cleaver – Pacific Coast Hockey Academy
- Blake Fiddler – Okanagan Hockey Academy
- Cameron Schmidt – RHA Kelowna
- Will Sharpe – Yale Hockey Academy
Cleaver is the only active CSSHL player, currently spending the 2023/24 season with the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy U18 Prep team. The Port Alberni, BC netminder was voted the CSSHL U17 Prep Division Top Goaltender during the 2022/23 season. Cleaver was selected in the third round of the 2022 WHL Draft by the Lethbridge Hurricanes, playing two games for the club last season.
