Delta's Garand signs with Blazers

The Kamloops Blazers have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Dylan Garand to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

Garand, 15, posted a perfect 13-0-0 record with the Delta Hockey Academy Bantam Prep team during the 2016-17 season to go along with a 1.15 goals-against average, a .959 save-percentage and four shutouts.

The Victoria, B.C. product also appeared in three post-season games, where he had a 2.57 goals-against average and a .927 save-percentage.

Garand was selected by the Blazers in the third round, 58th overall, at the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.
