Monday morning’s lone Female U18 Prep game saw a goaltending battle take place as Sasha Coutu (22/22) and Mika Yokota (38/38) kept clean sheets through all 60 minutes of regulation and 5 minutes of overtime, sending the game to a shootout. In the shootout Yokota would remain perfect, stopping both Balmorall shooters, while Teylor Crocker and Maria Facca both beat Coutu to give SAHA the 1-0 win.
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (5) vs North Shore Warriors (0) U17
A power play goal by Sebastian Quast (2G) gave Pacific Coast a 1-0 lead midway through the opening period. Quast would double the lead late in the second, scoring his second of the game and season with 2:16 remaining in the frame. Blake Bidney extended the deficit 35 seconds into the third and goals from Travis Allen and Hudson Elke put the game well out of reach. Oliver Boniface (22/22) stopped all 22 shots he faced to record the shutout. Ben Boudreau (40/45) was in net for North Shore in the loss.
